Place Based Innovation: Improving Citizen Outcomes
Following the success of techUK’s #PlaceBasedInnovation week we are pleased to be hosting a briefing with local public services and industry to explore further how we make a ‘place based approach’ a reality, and industry’s role in supporting this emerging trend in local public services.
Speakers confirmed include:
– Paul Davidson, Chief Information Officer, Sedgemoor City Council
– Bob Brown, Strategic Director, Sedgemoor City Council
– Paul Kennedy, Blue Light Channel
– Jessica Russell, Programme Manager – Justice & Emergency Services, techUK
To support this transformation trend, techUK is bringing its members and local public service stakeholders together to explore how a place-based approach can improve the ability to address key service delivery challenges, and where the tech sector can support transformation objectives. It’s an opportunity for industry to hear first-hand from local public services their transformation journey and the consideration they’ve taken around place. This event is also open and free to attend for local public services who will have the chance to share learning and best practice.
The event will explore:
What are the technologies enabling a place based approach?
How do we create the governance and culture needed to make transformation sustainable?
How do we overcome the barriers to data sharing across local public service agencies?
