Cambridgeshire Libraries are aware that we have a disjointed digital platform which means that our digital users  do not see our full  service offer in one place for different services, such as eBooks, eAudio, eNewspapers, reference databases, events, library catalogue, webpage, social media pages. Our customers also don’t know if events are on unless they use a different particular platform or visit a library – which is not ideal for customers or for us as a library service. 

We would like to streamline and modernise our library offering and make it easier for customers to interact  and transact with our service to get what they want or need as simply as possible.

Our proposal is that we would like to conduct research into what our customers need, what difficulties they are having at the moment so that we can design our library service around the needs of the residents of our county.  We would like to offer the right events and community services that would offer the most value so that we can make the most of these resources.
