Despite having 1,400 residents currently in our Temporary Accommodation and many more approaching as homeless, we are currently averaging 150 households per year entering the Private Rented Sector through our Direct Lettings scheme.

Unlike the private sector, we don’t have a system that can allow clients to proactively view properties, be reminded to engage and inform them of when new properties become available. We would want to co-design with service users to understand how such a system could be built and what would actually help them prevent their homelessness.
