Accessibility to access services is a problem shared by many LA’s, we hope to work with Ealing/Hillingdon/Bren and/or Harrow on this project.

We would like to revolutionise service delivery by developing a community app which will allow Residents to access all services from their mobile devices. The vision is that the app will give Residents access to report and request services, make payments, send photographic evidence, pinpoint locations etc but it will also be a hub of information, allowing residents to access information on absolutely everything from recycling to employment.

The Community App will promote community cohesion and will allow the council to communicate in real time with our residents which will significantly streamline service delivery, thus resulting in substantial efficiency savings.

The App will bring LA’s in to the modern world where we can communicate with our residents in way which is relevant to them. This will make services much more accessible to residents, it would also promote local services and businesses thus boosting the local economy and will encourage the community to thrive.

We have not worked out the projected costing but will be able to provide the costing details at application stage.

PC and server-based applications are becoming out dated. Businesses are increasing incorporating mobile and wireless solutions for their business processes to reduce service delivery timescales, improve performance and facilitate efficiency savings.  Mobile phones have become a vital part of everyone’s life. People are buying smart phones, so they can have everything in the palm of their hand. Mobile applications enable businesses to proceed without any interruptions, no matter where you are located.

Benefits include: Efficient work flow and tracking – reporting can be easily done with the help of mobile applications instead of making it manually or through emails. One can immediately report to their respective senior through mobile applications.

An officer will not need to waste time sitting in front of the desktop to access a particular application, it can be pushed through the app and accessed in seconds.

Anytime and anywhere: you need not search for internet access, a mobile app allows you to access it at anytime and anywhere.

Ease of application: any tasks and processes can be created through the app, you can even make payments through various mobile applications.
