A modern way for customers to transact, view and interact with information in the modern age is via mobile phones and often mobile apps.  Having standard applications that are open source and provide interoperability is not common within the government sector and invariably requires several apps from multiple vendors. To develop a vendor independent app/framework with fully open API’s to allow organisations to present a single app to their customers would reduce time cost across organisations and provide a better end product to customers, with higher satisfaction.
