Outcome of Expression of Interest: Not shortlisted

The primary outcome of the Electronic Content Management project is to deliver efficiency savings through improved access to multiple data and content sources via a single front end application.

The ‘discovery phase’ would enable us to perform user research, identify benefits and produce a detailed business case that would enable commencement of an alpha project.

Benefits to the three partners include keeping all information available via one secure portal, document version control, enhanced collaboration and workflow standardisation, whilst delivering increased productivity and ensuring GDPR compliance.

For our customers, content will be securely transferred and FOI requests will be processed efficiently. One document could be used for multiple purposes therefore promoting a more holistic view of the customer and the ability to solve problems and meet their needs while helping to break down traditional silos working. This functionality would create additional value to our ongoing digital platform implementation that is providing one view of the customer.

Looking to the future the ECM would offer the opportunity to support shared services across organisations and enable us to enhance the work we are currently undertaking to develop an agile workforce.
