Thanet District Council

Outcome of Expression of Interest: Invited to apply

The Emergency Planning process is heavily reliant on manual intervention to develop, complete and maintain, which presents an unacceptable level of risk that the information may be inaccurate or incomplete in the realisation of an emergency situation.  Through discovery and research we would like to understand how we can best deliver an effective and up to date digitised emergency planning management process.  This would enable effective, timely information share, appropriate use of resources and clear accountability of tasks that can be used in the event of a emergency situation. The discovery will help define a process and solution that will complement Resilience Direct and could subsequently be deployed to other districts and local authorities nationwide.
