Building a region-wide digital platform to support homelessness prevention:

the WM Homelessness Taskforce is a region-wide collaboration with a mandate to ‘design out’ homelessness in the region.  It has secured Housing First funding and has several workstreams focused on the journey from rough sleeping to hidden homelessness and multiple complex needs.

The Taskforce has identified a clear need for single point, online access to information, advice and guidance as a plank of early help that is currently missing within the region.  Building on the ‘Change into Action’ alternative giving platform, we would like to explore the potential for a digital solution that could support early intervention with clear benefits for citizens and the public purse.
