The majority of Local Authorities understand the value in the data they hold, however it is rare to find an LA that has been able to truly unlock the power of the data they have.
Over reporting and silo’d data sets are common issues that have yet to be really tackled.
We would like to instigate a project that reviews the data held within a Council, identify what can be automated and create a standard data set approach for CEXs that can be templated and reused.
a) identify the statutory reports
b) automate these where possible
c) compare and constrast the data we hold across the LA
This will deliver a significant reduction in the reports we produce, provide efficiencies within Local Authorities and create an automated reporting set that can spearhead the approach for other Local Authorities.
We would need a Data Specialist and potentially a 3rd party like Intelligenti who are experts in the Power BI usage.
