Data Science in Local Government Community Meeting

We’re excited to invite you to our event: “Data Science in Local Government Meet-Up: Advancing Local Analytics”.
Delivered by the Cross Public Sector Data Science Community and Data Cymru, this event is an opportunity for UK local government analysts and data scientists to get together and discuss inspiring work from across the country.
This event is ideal for anyone working in or with local government organisations who want to build data science capability, learn about new tools for policy prioritisation or develop their data strategy.
The event will consist of:
– an introduction to some of the resources available to data professionals in UK local government; including contributions from the Local Government Association and ONS Local,
– a hands-on workshop from the Alan Turing Institute on their no-code Policy Priority Inference tool, and
– a panel discussion from local government data professionals about unlocking the potential of our data
