Hack Winchester!

Winchester City Council and the University of Winchester are delighted to invite you to the Hack Winchester!

Following on from Winchester’s first Unconference held in May, we would like you to help us find ways to use technology and data to help:

– support local businesses (both city and rural)
– attract and retain young people
– create co-working spaces

A hack is an event where people with all sorts of skills and knowledge get together to solve shared problems. Hacks work best when there is a mixture of skills, ranging from – but definitely not restricted to – coding, web designers, data analysis and visualisation, project management, starts ups and business experts. The main event will be an intensive day of pitching, coding, developing, and data wrangling (and anything else you can think of!). It’s not just for techies, and anyone who is interested can come and join in! Look out for posts on the WinchBiz blog which will explain in more detail.

Hack Winchester is free to attend and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. The event is being organised by AHA Digital on behalf of Winchester City Council and the University of Winchester.
